Here are Dr. Allam's Top 5 daily recommendations -

  • Simple Mantra "Vegetable and Protein with Fruit in Between"
  • Start your day off with protein for breakfast. A simple egg or a handful of almonds is a good source of protein.
  • Eating many small meals is beneficial to control blood sugar, speed up metabolism and help maintain energy throughout the day.
  • WATER!!!!! You should drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces per day.
  • Eating one fruit or vegetable from each of the color categories is equivalent to a multi-vitamin but is more organic and absorbs at a much higher rate.
