First Visit

Patient Portal

When you call for your first appointment with Craig Ranch Chiropractic, we will e-mail you a link to our secure Patient Portal where you will complete your patient information in an online environment and then your information will automatically upload into our system...saving you time and showing a little kindness to our world.

Brief Paperwork

On your first visit to Craig Ranch Chiropractic, we may have some brief additional paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides with Insurance information, general information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

Once any paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with Dr. Allam to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, Dr. Allam will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, a number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent.

Computerized Nerve Test

Dr. Allam will do a computerized nerve test to determine which nerves are functioning correctly and which muscles may be involved in the problem.

X-ray Studies

Your specific condition may require us to get x-rays to either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Craig Ranch Chiropractic does not perform x-rays in-house but will send you to a nearby facility where this can be accomplished.

Same Day Treatment

When the examination and all appropriate studies are completed, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during this same visit. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions by Dr. Allam or the CA, on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.

Schedule Your Next Appointment

Dr. Allam will also give you a recommended time for your follow-up visit based on your condition. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are provided with a complete review of findings. Treatment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time.
